Business trips are often dull and filled with people wearing nothing but blacks and whites. Although it may look formal and pleasing, this is actually not an effective way of telling your workers that you are grateful to have them in your company. That is why camping can be a great option if you want them to relax a little after a long month or year of stressful work.

Of course when camping do not expect everyone to wear the attitudes that they have when confined at their cubicles. Don’t restrict them from being themselves and the same goes for you too as well even if you are the boss. Throw a punch of joke or two but see to it that you maintain that distance as to not lose that respect that they have from you.

Furthermore, you should also have camping activities for your workers so that they would enjoy the trip. You may talk about how it is related to their work and the effects in their jobs if they do not know the value of teamwork and leadership as shown in the activities.

Business camping is like hitting two birds with one stone. You will be rewarding your people for a job well done. At the same time, you are also teaching them the values that they need to incorporate once they are back on their desks again.
